5: The Defense
The defender stood,
towering over all of us.
This man was truly our god,
but of course we denied it.
To the accused he whispered,
"I promised you tomorrow,
and a red sky you shall have."
The accused began to weep.
"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury,
I will tell you this plain and simply.
All of you shall follow my words."
He stared at the judge with disgust,
and turned his eyes back to us.
"The man I defend today is guilty-
guilty beyond belief."
My mind began to shatter,
my flesh was ablaze,
and I needed to escape.
I saw the others shared this plight.
"Yet, in this respect, so are you."
At this point we wer

"I saw him in the starlight,
and sang him a lullaby
as sweetly as I could."
"You did no such thing!"
He screamed,
order was restored.
We were foolish not to see
the desperate man was right,
we would never know the truth.
"A plague was thrown over our bodies,
and this mans' tongue seemed the source.
The scars marking his flesh tell the story."
As the man was stripped of his pride,
his love, his passion and his self,
he screamed at the witness,
"These memories will scar you worse than me,
and I hope you pass on my mercy, my love,
for the sky screams red tomorrow!"
everyone feels the same way
and no one feels like you do
dying a little every day
what is it like to be you?
forever in some sort of pain
does that mean you can't feel it at all?
you think you cannot stay sane
but we know what it's like to fall
your mind is your universe to play
always lost in your thoughts
pulled to the surface to say
you can't help me, i'm lost
lost
but i found you
does that mean i'm lost too?
Can you even understand
what's meant by nothing
nothing felt, nothing seen
nothing to give
or want
Just sound
take it in
what does it mean?
Does it make sense to you
does it need to?
How low can you feel
when you feel
Nothing

3: The Midnight Witness
The witness sat and shook,
as though the winter was upon us,
as though it was our last.
We sat in silence, judging.
The witness gave a final shiver,
and was declared under oath.
"It was dark underwater,
no light escaped through the turmoil.
In this sea of stars I swam,
searching for my love,
before the sky hit the ground.
I screamed his name,
but to no avail."
"He screamed your name,
and you came running,
only to find he was soaked with guilt,
and blood red were his eyes."
"Of course this is true-
as I pass by he chokes,
and as I stare he screams:
'guilt'."
I was blind at the time,
but still I could see how dark it was
The prosecution stood before us,
his arms outstretched,
his hands shielding the light.
Speaking straight to a crowd of bent faces,
"A mind with guilt could not
grant this man his freedom"
We spoke in whispers,
and stared with disgust
upon a man who was accused
a man of sin, a man of lust.
"This man sickens me,
as he sickens you!"
the prosecutor claimed.
"I've been through war,
torment and trial,
but never have I seen-
seen such denial."
With fire in his eyes,
he turned to his victim.
"You have done this!
You can no longer run."
In reply the offender screamed
"I have done nothing!
This has not even begun!"
We stared wit
His silk hid everything,
from greed to murder.
He slammed a gavel
made purely of waste
to gain order in a court
filled with a spreading fever.
A defense that could repel
anything from a broken man
such as yourself.
Or so we suspected.
You entered the room
clothed only in a dark mist.
We all pitied you,
until you opened your eyes.
You threw us aside,
and we were ashamed.
You walked hand in hand with god.
Justice had torn at your face for far too long,
even scars yet to be made were visible.
We stared with accusing eyes,
and our judgment was made in perfect harmony
even before you entered the room,
but we knew there were n
everyday I die another death
everyday I lose another breath
I feel the pain growing each day
so boy now I'll stand up and say
I'm reaching out, its you i need
listen to my words and take heed
if you ever feel like running away
take your pain and give it to me
go on and live the life you've earned
feeling your pain will force me to learn
and you'll be free to live your lie
knowing your pain made me die
Like the silver bullet in a werewolf's heart,
you kill me from the inside.
Like the ray of light on a vampire's torso,
from my fate I cannot hide.
Like the knife that draws the blood,
your touch on my skin is unmoving.
Like the poison that slips down my throat,
you burn while you are soothing.
Like the rope around my throat,
you cut of the air that keeps me here.
Like the water that fills my lungs,
you bring my true worst fear.
We are all alone, outsiders
lost in their world of sickness
dead and strange,
but here in the dark we forget
our pain.
We no longer feel the crooked edges
but only softness.
stroking hair,
glittering eyes,
rainbow lights and beating hearts
replace all the death and lies,
unified together by our senses,
we are one.

and i have photoshop too....so, hopefully good things will happen :D
i spent a long time hiding and changing who i am based on the people around me. they were my friends, but being away from them now lets me focus on me. james has only helped that. i don't care who takes me seriously, i take myself seriously. i contradict myself. all the time. i'm going to eat what i want because it makes me happy. i'm not going to limit my personality because it doesn't fit in with the rest of you. i like who i am because i like the people that like me for who i am. i am not a clone of my best friend. i am not a clone of the man i love. i am me. i am an individual, and there's 6 billion other people just like me and yet no on
